So I'm in a rough spot. I'm in grad school and have a family, so I already have a lot on my plate. So studying for the FM exam has been not so great. My friend gave me his Actex book for it and said that is all he needed, and the first parts were fine, up until derivatives. Then the book just referenced another text, which I had no idea was needed. So pretty much the last chapters on derivatives were really vague. So I feel not so great. So I'm thinking I need some other material to help give me a chance. Does anybody have experience with the coaching actuaries materials? I was thinking of getting a 30 day subscription. And to help me, hopefully, learn the material better, I was going to buy their electronic flashcards. Does anybody have experience with either of these? I tried to do a search on reviews for them but I turned up with zippo. Or does anybody else have some ideas that would help me learn the material in a small amount of time? Thanks! I really appreciate it!
